This Privacy Policy (Policy) applies to our web site, westgate.bank, and our mobile app (collectively, Web site).  It does not apply to any information collected offline or otherwise outside of our Web site.  This policy details the kind of information we collect on the Web site, how we collect it, and what we do with it.

The Mortgage Servicing Privacy Policy for West Gate Bank’s mortgage servicing’s web site, servicing.westgate.mortgage/, and our mobile servicing app (collectively, Mortgage Servicing Web site) can be viewed on our Mortgage Servicing Web site.

West Gate Bank® also uses and shares information about its customers in accordance with the terms of the Privacy Notice.  The Privacy Notice is located on the Web site and Mortgage Servicing Web site.

Information We Collect

Information you Provide to Us

We may collect personal information about you when you provide it to us while using or interacting with the Web site such as your first and last name, social security number, email address, telephone number, mailing address, business name, login information, location, financial information, account information, messages you submit using the Website’s forms or chat features, pictures you submit, receipts you submit, and other information that may personally identify you. We may also collect account numbers, payment card expiration date, payment card identification, verification numbers and transaction and payment history.

If you enable your mobile app to use facial scan or fingerprint technology (Biometric Information), we may use that Biometric Information to validate your identity, but we do not collect or store your Biometric Information.

Information We Collect Automatically

The Web site may use technologies that collect certain information about you automatically.  We may collect, among other things, your IP address, location, device type, date and time of visit, operating system, browser type and version, microphone, camera, your activities on the Web site, and information about how you use the Web site.  If you are using the Web site via a mobile device, we may also collect your mobile device’s unique device ID and information about other apps on your mobile device.

During the normal course of business, we may receive information about you from our third-party service providers and other business partners. We may collect certain information from identity verification services and consumer reporting agencies, including credit bureaus. To help us protect your information, it is important that you always keep your account information safe.  We encourage you to never share your username, password, or PIN with anyone.  By providing your username, password, or other credentials to any person or third party (including an aggregation service) you authorize that person or third party to initiate transfers to or from your account.

West Gate Bank will never initiate a request via email or text message requesting information such as your Social Security Number, username, password, PIN, or account number.  If you receive an email or text message that appears to be from West Gate Bank, asking for sensitive information, you should be suspicious of the request and immediately contact us in accordance with the CONTACT US section of this Policy.

Linked Third Party Web Sites

Our Web site may contain links to web sites operated and maintained by third parties, including social media platforms. When you click on a link to any other web site or location, you will leave our Web site and go to another site and another entity may collect personal and/or anonymous information from you.
