Correspondent & Broker Mortgage Sales Manager - Lincoln, NE*

Exempt, Full-time*
Primary Job Purpose: This position will lead and develop a team of sales professionals who actively market, source, and develop new relationships with correspondents, and broker lenders. You will play a key role in collaborating with the Mortgage President to ensure that department operations are efficient and effective with the goal of creating maximum significance.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Recruits, hires, and manages a team of client account managers and broker loan officers to provide excellent customer service and engage in new business development
- Develop, execute sales and marketing initiatives and projects
- Creates and provides accurate pipeline of loan sale activity reports on a monthly, quarterly, and fiscal year schedule
- Builds key performance metrics, scorecards, and analytical reporting for management, supervisors, and staff
- Releases all TPO customer communications
- Collaborates with Secondary to manage the process of incentives for TPO clients
- Works collaboratively with Operations to ensure client service objectives are achieved while maintaining quality and control requirements
- Partners with Operations in the prevention and resolution of operational problems by identifying weaknesses and inefficiencies in internal processes
- Cooperates with Audit, Underwriting, Compliance, Quality Control, Final Documents and Servicing teams to clarify loan level requirements and administers communication between departments and clients
- Create, coordinate, and deliver training and develop enhanced process for department and TPO clients
- Represent the company at industry events, participate in industry trade association committees
- Supports and assists the Mortgage President in implementing strategies that align with organizational goals
- Other duties as assigned
Job Specifications
Work Direction: This position reports to the Mortgage President.
Accountability: This position has access to and knowledge of the financial situation of customers. The utmost discretion and confidentiality must be exercised with all data.
Work Relationship: Regular contact with both internal and external customers. Must be able to communicate in a clear, concise, and pleasant manner.
Supervision: This position has supervisory responsibilities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or related field OR
- 10+ years of experience performing mortgage lending related activities.
- Experience with Windows-based computer applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage processes and people
