Mobile App Issues with New Samsung Galaxy S22

Did you get the new Samsung Galaxy S22 phone and now your West Gate Bank mobile app isn’t working? You’re not alone!
We’ve heard from a number of customers experiencing issues with our app using this new phone. The Galaxy S22 series are not a supported device with our provider. This doesn't mean the mobile app will not work, we are just unable to trouble shoot. However, we have been advised that when the Android Vendors correct the issues related to the Android Devices that could very well include the S22's.
Support and development teams with our provider are diligently working toward a resolution. Our current plan is to include a fix for this issue in an upcoming app release. They have not provided us with a timeline for the app update.
In the meantime, we suggest you use a web browser to log on to online banking. Keep checking your app and we’ll share an update once we hear from our provider.
